CQC Report April 2017

We are currently having a new telephone system installed. There may be a short period of time when there is no live telephone lines in or out of the practice during the afternoon of WEDNESDAY 26TH OCTOBER.

If you are trying to contact the practice and find that your call is not getting through, please try again later. If very urgent please dial 111 and in case of emergency dial 999.

The practice is open as usual during this telephone change over. Please bear with us if there are teething problems over the coming days.

CQC Inspection Report 2016

The practice was rated as Good overall. We received positive feedback from the inspectors on the day of the visit, particularly around our open and transparent approach to incidents and complaints, commitment to offer a high standard of customer service to patients and positive feedback from the members of our patient participation group who were interviewed on the inspection day.

It was noted that all patient comment cards which had been completed were positive. Our staff had worked extremely hard in preparation of our inspection and we are very pleased with the result. We continue to strive to make improvements in all areas of the patient journey and care provided by Penshurst Gardens Surgery and we look forward to patients supporting us with this during the current financial constraints we are working within, both in primary care and the NHS overall.
